November

The month was full of visitors. We spent a week in the bayou with the Tramel family. The weather was beautiful and Peyton had a great time making friends with Brooks, McKinlee, Matt and "Lusianna" (TeAna).

For Thanksgiving Peyton got a visit from Grandaddy, Grammy, Aunt CC and Brooklyn. She was too excited to sleep and even got to take a trip into NYC. She liked the Macy's store window decorations and the Rockafeller Tree but was most impressed by the pigeons and her citing of Cookie Monster and Elmo on the street corner!

After Halloween we headed to Louisianna to visit the Tramel family. Peyton fell in love with TeAna, Matt and of course the twins, McKinlee and and Brooks.

Holy Macaroni - Peyton is 2!

FALL 2010

At 2 years of age Peyton is 25lbs and 34 inches tall.  She speaks in 6-10 word sentences and sings 5 songs all by herself.  She has moved up to the Twaddler room at daycare (2 - 2 1/2 years) and her teachers tell us Peyton is at a 3 year old level for speech, analytical skills and physical ability.  Peyton can count to 10 (when she wants to), knows all of her shapes (including octagon) and colors.  She loves to clean and is quick to tell others the "rules" if they aren't following them.
